William Marshall has served as a director of Planet since he co-founded Planet in 2010 under the name Cosmogia Inc., and has served as Planet’s Chief Executive Officer since his appointment in 2011, during which time he also held the title of Chief Scientist at Planet. He has served as a director and the Chairperson of the board of directors and Chief Executive Officer of Planet Labs PBC since the consummation of the Business Combination in December 2021.
